ROE Visual Diamond for Tillypark Studios

Leek, The Netherlands (12 May 2021) – Finalizing the renovation of their Studio Complex under its new name Tillypark Studios, WBLT has extended its offering with a flexible virtual production space – XAGON. ROE Visual Diamond LED panels are part of the upgraded facilities.

Launching the Tillypark Studios and completing the studio complex with a virtual production space is an excellent example of the prowess that characterizes WBTL. The German-based event and media company WBLT is a hybrid production company and agency, delivering all-round support for events or media productions. Their media department produces content like animations, renders, or 3D visualizations and supports its customers with various film productions made in their production location, Tillypark Studios.

“Launching our own virtual production space is a long-cherished wish,” comments Jochen Graf, Managing Director of WBLT. With XAGON, our LED studio, we’re able to build hybrid sets – a mixture of real scenes and virtual set construction. Our client base has frequently asked for options for hybrid events and virtual productions. We have been running our so-called BLACKBOX studio since June 2020. Some music producers, using this space, approached us and asked if we would be interested in producing music videos. In the meantime, we have also produced a few commercials”.

With the studio set-up as a flexible and adaptable space, we can accommodate lots of different shoots or events”, continues Graf, “The XAGON LED Studio uses a concave LED screen consisting of 50 sqm ROE Visual Diamond DM2.6 as back wall. In addition, we can add a Black Marble LED floor, as we did for the HAIX shoot”.
