ROE Visual Features at Moncler Fashion Show
The Moncler Genius brand collection Fragment by Hiroshi Fujiwara, was showcased in an urban railway tunnel in the heart of Milan during the February 2019 Fashion Week, featuring the fashionable Black Marble LED panels from ROE Visual in a central role.
Based on an idea by Moncler chairman Remo Ruffini, a clever product launch strategy was set out, asking eight designers to create their own diffusion lines. Among other designers, Hiroshi Fujiwara was invited to create one of the eight capsule collections, all inspired by the iconic Moncler down jacket in their own distinct style.
"The Black Marble LED floor, with its top-access for service, makes it an easy and flexible product to work with"
For the introduction of Collection 7 – Fragment, by Hiroshi Fujiwara, Villa Eugénie was commissioned to create the launch event. Villa Eugénie is a premier special events company with its roots in the fashion industry, the company is responsible for the creative conception and production of fashion shows across the world and is increasingly sought out for events that look to shape contemporary culture and the digitally driven world.
In turn, Villa Eugénie asked Visual Solutions to install a space-filling LED floor in order to create an immersive environment, generating vivid and realistic perspectives.
Belgium based Visual Solutions, selected the ROE Visual Black Marble BM4 LED panelsfor this project, because of its ease of installation and maintenance. Faber Audiovisuals, having invested in a large batch of these LED panels were asked to supply the video hardware.
“Both Visual Solutions and Faber Audiovisuals can rely on the expertise of a team of highly qualified and trained video engineers and operators, our technical crew was amazed by the easy installation qualities of the Black Marble floor and the resulting high-quality visuals”, comments Jo Pauly, managing director for Visual Solutions. “All programming and interactivity were supported by Disguise media servers, which gave an enormous flexibility for both the artist and the engineers.
“The Black Marble LED floor has been adapted quickly in the event and live music industry and is featuring in many shows and events. Next to its outstanding visual quality, the combination of a LED panel and basic frame, with top-access for service makes it an easy and flexible product to work with” comments Jeroen Jongenelen, International Sales Director for Faber Audiovisuals.
