Cologne’s Confex Exhibition Centre Selects ROE Visual for Media Façade

Leek, The Netherlands  [11 March 2025] – After nearly three years of construction, the highly anticipated Confex Exhibition Centre in Cologne has officially opened its doors, setting a new standard for world-class events. As part of this ambitious project, ROE Visual’s LED technology was pivotal in transforming the venue into a state-of-the-art, fully digitalized event space.

A key highlight of the Confex Centre is its 72-meter-long LED façade, an awe-inspiring media display powered by ROE Visual’s customized Vanish V10 LED panels. Installation specialist sld mediatec carried out the installation of the LED wall.

This installation, one of the largest of its kind in Europe, seamlessly integrates digital innovation with architectural design. Despite its impressive scale, the transparency of the selected LED product and its mounting system ensures minimal impact on the building, preserving an unobstructed view in both directions: to the building’s interior, as well as on Cologne’s iconic cathedral while delivering a dynamic, high-impact digital canvas for event branding and communication.
