LED Processing Software Updates

Our LED processing partners have released three significant software updates, introducing a range of enhancements to Brompton, Megapixel, and iSet. These updates bring several improvements, all aimed at optimising performance and efficiency. Read on to explore the key improvements and their impact on your workflow.

With the release of Tessera 3.5.1, Brompton has introduced a range of powerful new features for their LED processors:

• Frame Store – Upload and store still images directly on the processor to use as test patterns. This is ideal for testing screens without an active input or displaying a holding image.
• Dark Time Insertion – Inserts a brief black frame each cycle, enhancing sharpness in moving content and text.
• Improved Hidden Markers – Now supporting StarTracker, RedSpy, and custom markers, making it an even more effective tool when combined with the ShutterSync feature.
• Email Notifications – Receive real-time alerts via email, enabling better remote system management.
• Additional Enhancements – Brightness limit control, Improved beacon UI, Enhanced color picker functionality, and a new scaling method for better image handling.

These updates make Brompton’s LED processors even more versatile, offering greater control and efficiency for professionals in the industry.

To the Sofware Update

The latest 24.11.1 release from Megapixel introduces several user-friendly improvements, enhancing functionality and ease of use.

• PTP Sync Support – Enhances SMPTE 2110 compatibility, ensuring more precise synchronization.
• Improved Input Handling – Generate EDIDs directly from the interface and reacquire signals for better input management.
• Baseline Feature – Set a baseline for all connected LED panels and mappings, with automatic warnings when deviations occur, improving system monitoring.
• Enhanced Troubleshooting Tools –
  • New counters for detailed error tracking
  • Tile topology report for better system insights
  • Network error heatmap for faster issue identification, simplifying (remote) management.
• Additional Enhancements – Expanded API capabilities, failover options in the scheduler, and various fixes and optimizations for overall system performance.

These updates make Helios even more powerful, offering better reliability and control for LED processing and system management.

To the Sofware Update

Specially designed for rental purposes, iSet is the professional and intuitive software that works together with the ROE Visual eV4 LED processor. It has a proven track record of providing stable and reliable processor software.The latest supported version of iSet 6.2 is now available for download.

Mapping your LED configuration is very user-friendly and fast, even for complex or large LED screen set-ups, that use multiple senders and LED displays. Using the iSet software you can conveniently adjust display parameters, like brightness or chroma-key adjustment, selecting the whole screen or just a part of it.

This update includes the latest parameter files for our newest products, Topaz and VST, along with various minor improvements. 

For optimal performance, we strongly recommend using ROE Visual iSet exclusively with ROE Visual LED panels.
