ROE Visual Makes Lasting Impression at Centennial NAB Show

Showcasing New Technologies on the Show Floor in Vegas

Chatsworth, USA (April 2023) – ROE Visual had another triumphant NAB Show in Las Vegas after an action-packed week. This milestone event was an excellent platform to exhibit their LED displays for broadcast and demonstrate the GhostFrame production tool in action. Beyond the ROE booth, the company had a significant presence across the show floor with their products used to showcase breaking technological advancements.

A departure from their typical booth setup, ROE had a mock talk show set up on display, complete with a large curved Black Pearl BP2V2 wall and matching Black Marble BM2 stage. To capture scheduled GhostFrame demonstrations, a camera jib was utilized to deliver seamless, multi-camera capture. GhostFrame representatives, Peter Angell and Max von Braun lent their expertise twice daily to present the production tool, explaining the capabilities in broadcast and beyond.

On the back side of the booth were fixed installation-focused LED products. A large wall comprised of the Graphite panel adorned half of the space with single panels and their specs on the lower half of the booth wall. Other product lines included the CB MKII, Ruby, and Opal platforms to name a few.

In addition to the booth, attendees could also witness ROE Visual’s presence throughout the impressive show floor. ROE worked with a number of companies to showcase their cutting-edge technologies in a vibrant way, including GhostFrame, disguise, The Studio at B&H, Brompton, stYpe, ARRI, Megapixel, and Vizrt. Notable highlights from partners included disguise’s booth which utilized a ROE LED wall with GhostFrame to demonstrate a new motion capture integration, The Studio at B&H’s virtual production film set, ROE R&D Manager, Tucker Downs’ information session at the fuse booth, and Brompton’s demonstrations of the RGBW panel.

A first for ROE Visual, they premiered the Carbon 5 RGBW panel with Brompton at their booth. Powered by TrueLight, the LED panel’s spectral output is increased, allowing for an overall improved color representation. This game-changing technology was a hit with attendees and truly demonstrated how LED displays can be used as excellent light sources in a myriad of environments.

“NAB proved yet again to be a vital show for our team as some of our dearest clients attend and new interest emerges from the market,” says Frank Montero, ROE Visual US Managing Director, “We are so thrilled to have our technology represented at the show in our partners’ booths as well. The unveiling of the Carbon 5 RGBW panel with Brompton was a highlight for our team and something we’re looking forward to divulging more about in the future. Overall, a fantastic show!” he adds.
